Every design’s 3D files are a free download, with a ready-to-slice project alongside the raw STLs. No account, no paywall.
3D-printed robots, custom controller boards, and design files — crafted by an engineer, tested by kids, loved by makers.
Whatever I release, it comes the same way — free print files, open firmware, and a guide that goes from an empty print bed to a working robot. Nothing held back for a paid tier.

The guide lists every printed part and every screw with its exact quantity, in assembly order — so you find out what’s missing before you start, not halfway in.
Each robot has a controller board made for it — hand-soldered, tested, labeled header per connection. Or take the KiCad files and make your own.
Arduino firmware goes on over USB or over the air. From there the robot hosts its own WiFi — set it up in the browser, drive it from your phone.
Hand-crafted robotic kits and components, personally tested before every shipment.
Need something unique? From personalized room signs to custom desk organizers, we design and 3D-print practical gadgets tailored to your space.

Hi, I’m Zhengyu Peng — an automotive radar engineer at Aptiv by day, robot builder by night. RookiDroid started as a personal project to build 3D-printed robots for my kids.
The controller boards you see here are extras from my own builds — each one hand-soldered and thoroughly tested. What began as a hobby has grown into a workshop where I share designs, code, and hardware with fellow makers around the world.
